Metric Parking Division increases their North American coverage by naming two Business Development Managers. Positions in the mid west and west coast have been filled to increase distribution network and develop new business opportunities across the country.

September 1, 2011 - Metric Parking which has been producing machines for the parking industry for over 30 years has recently announced the appointments of Donna Wagener and Elliott Nemerson as Business Development Managers. Ms. Wagener will be based in Chicago, Illinois and Elliott Nemerson, based in Southern California. Both of these new appointments will have the responsibility of building the distribution network for Metric Parking products and develop new business opportunities in North America.

Prior to joining Metric Parking, Ms. Wagener was employed as a Vice President of Development and Construction of Jupiter Reality in Chicago. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in Finance.

 Mr. Nemerson has over 26 years in the parking industry. He has worked in the past with companies such as Federal APD and Sysparc selling and developing distribution networks within his area for parking equipment.

 Dave Witts, President of Metric Group, commented “One of the key objectives of Metric Inc. is to build a distribution network that will allow sales and service of our products across the country. Additionally we want to find and to develop new types of applications that our equipment can be utilized in”. Metric has been a leading player in the international multi-space market, and has significantly grown their business in North America within the past 4 years. With the appointment of Ms. Wagener & Mr. Nemerson, coupled with the recent completion of some large city contracts, including the City of Philadelphia for over 1,000 multi-space Aura meters, Metric is becoming a major player in North America with multi-space parking technology.
