Metric Group Inc. partners with MobileNOW! LLC to provide an integrated solution for cell  phone payments.

Mount Laurel, NJ, October 28, 2011 – Metric Group Inc., a producer of advanced revenue collection and control machines for the parking industry, and Mobile NOW LLC, a leading provider of Pay by Cell parking services under the service name ParkNOW!™, introduce their new integrated payment solution.

 It’s the first commercial parking payment service where a parking session paid at a meter can be extended remotely by scanning a barcode printed on the ticket dispensed by the parking meter. ParkNOW!™ also permits drivers to start and pay for the initial parking session by cell. The solution will be rolled out shortly to several cities in the U.S. where Metric parking meters are in use.

The flexibility of the Aura software allows ParkNOW!™ to easily integrate into the back office to retrieve the necessary information required for enforcement and reporting. The system can handle both space and license plate numbers and is thus able to work in all parking environments - Pay & Display, Pay by Space and Pay by License Plate Number.
