Metric Group has just completed a successful week at Parkex 2011 in Birmingham, UK.

Mount Laurel, NJ, April 5, 2011 – Metric Group has just completed a successful week at Parkex 2011 in Birmingham, UK. Parkex was in conjunction with Traffex and Streetdesign this year, and is Europe’s largest dedicated parking event.

Metric Group showcased all of their new products and features being offered to meet today’s demand for a total parking solution. Some of the features were specific to European applications, however others such as Metric Mobile phone payment solution, EV charging station payment and pay by license plate were showcased as will be at IPI this year in the US.

Dave Witts, President of Metric Group Inc. who was in attendance says “it was good to see the interest in the advanced features that Metric is offering and we look forward to showing these at IPI in May. It was obvious from talking to the many people in our booth that the ability to have multiple forms of payment and enforcement methods is crucial in today’s market. Additionally the ability to use a multi-space meter for payment on EV charging stations seemed to generate a great deal of interest. With today’s global economy issues, municipalities and private operators are looking to achieve many uses for their multiple space meters other than just producing a ticket.”
