Metric Parking Division names Managing Director of Metric Group

Peter Aylward has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Metric and will be responsible for all group business activities in the UK, including the Almex division where he was the manager for the last three years before being promoted to his new role.

He is also responsible for the recently formed Glory division which has ambitious growth plans over the coming years for their range of high quality coin and note counting verification equipment.

One of Peter’s key objectives over the coming months is to create a closer collaboration between all of the UK divisions, along with improved communication channels with parent company Hoft & Wessel who are based in Hanover, Germany.

Said Peter:  “An increased synergy between all divisions of the group will generate mutually beneficial rewards for everyone.”

Peter’s career to date emphasises a strong software background with the last 15 years spent holding senior management positions with European technology companies.

He speaks fluent German and spent 17 years in Germany running his own software company in Hamburg.

Away from the office, Peter enjoys going to the gym, golf and sailing.
